Out and About: At Cathedral in Sheffield

We return with another edition of “Out and About” today as we take a trip into the centre of Sheffield.

With the Cathedral Church of St Peter and St Paul in the background we see Citylink 399 202 departing from the Cathedral stop on the Supertram network with a Tram-Train service to Rotherham Parkgate. There has been a church on this site since the early 1200s but much of the church you see today – which didn’t become a Cathedral until 1914 – dates from a 1430 rebuild.
