Another car ends up on the tramway in Blackpool

Monday 29th November saw another car crash through the concrete barriers protecting the tramway in Blackpool – although fortunately there were no injuries reported with the Ambulance service not being requested to attend the incident.

The car crashed at around 1920 on Monday 29th November with the impact causing it to go through the concrete barrier which separates the tramway from the pavement. The incident occurred between Cavendish Road and Bispham stops opposite The Highlands Pub.

There was no tram service operating on this section of the line at this time with the damaged buildings around North Pier having seen a suspension between North Pier and Fleetwood so the crash caused no further disruption.
