15 Years Apart: Glasgow 22

Its another edition of “15 Years Apart” today (there will be other photo series during our birthday celebration month they just haven’t been written yet!) as we take a look at another tram in 2006 and 2021.

Today we are taking a look at Glasgow 22 – one of the workhorses of the fleet at the Crich Tramway Village both in 2006 and 2021. The first image shows 22 in the depot yard at Crich on 11th June 2006 with it on the stub siding in the centre of the yard.

Having gone through the Workshop in 2015 for an overhaul, 22 remained part of the operational fleet in 2021 and saw regular use throughout the season. If you could easily spot the differences in yesterday’s tram today is very different as about the only obvious change is that the destination blind is set differently! Its just passing the depot entrance on its way back to Town End on 18th September 2021.
