Around the World in Trams: Amsterdam 664

We’re starting to see a bit of a theme with this series of photos from Amsterdam as we feature another scrapped tram in this edition.

The tram we see in this photo is 664. Built in 1964 this Werkspoor 5G tram is a three section tram and carries the familiar yellow and grey livery carried on the trams in Amsterdam at this time. Remaining in service into the new millennium it was finally scrapped in 2002 after more modern trams were introduced.
