Ride the Lights at the East Anglia Transport Museum

The latest UK heritage tramway to announce plans to run in the lead up to Christmas is the East Anglia Transport Museum who will be operating a special service on the three December Saturdays in the lead up to Christmas.

Marketed as “Ride the Lights”, on Saturday 5th, 12th and 19th December between 1400 and 1800 the museum will be open, with the chance to ride on not only the trams but also the trolleybuses and also the East Suffolk Light Railway.

The same arrangements will be in place as they were the museum reopened following the lifting of restrictions earlier this year. This means there will be no need to pre-book with normal admission prices applying. There will be strict limits of the numbers who can get in to the museum at any one time so it may be necessary to close the gates if it gets too busy inside. Face coverings will have to be worn on any vehicles and in any of the exhibition spaces and the rule of 6 will be in place.

And if that’s not enough they are also planning to open on New Years Day!
