Following on from the photos we’ve shown recently of poppies on trams in Blackpool, we can now feature Stagecoach Supertram’s own way to remember those who died in the line of duty. As with Blackpool poppies are being added to the trams with the difference being that they are externally affixed to the trams on one of the wing mirrors at each end.
In this image we see 116 – which retains its advert for XPO Logistics – at Malin Bridge with its poppy being shown proudly. With the white background of the livery the poppy stands out nicely here. (Photograph by Stuart Cooke, 30th October 2020)
