Lockdown Walks: Edinburgh Trams 266

We head out of Edinburgh City Centre for this latest look at a tram operating during 2020.

Edinburgh Trams operates in several different environments on its way between York Place and the Airport with on street running for its first section as far as Haymarket before it uses reserved track from there all the way to the Airport. Travelling along the route of a closed railway line in parts and also on new alignment giving interchanges with a couple of railway stations as well as access to a major shopping centre, a park and ride site and, of course, the Airport. Part of the route also uses grassed track as seen below.
