As from Monday 12th October another revised timetable will be introduced on the West Midlands Metro, offering a slightly reduced frequency to the standard timetable which had been in operation again since the start of September.
The new timetable – which will only affect services Monday to Friday, the Saturday and Sunday timetables remain as is – will see the following basic frequency:
Start of service to 0700: Every 15 minutes
0700 to 0930: Every 6 minutes
0930 to 1630: Every 8 minutes
1630 to 1900: Every 6 minutes
1900 to end of service: Every 15 minutes
The first tram from Wolverhampton St George’s to Library will be at 0515 and in the reverse direction at 0510. The final trams of the day from end to end will be at 2338 from Wolverhampton St George’s and 2330 from Library. Other earlier and later services will run from each end as far as Wednesbury Parkway.
West Midlands Metro are also reminding all passengers that unless exempt they should wear face coverings on board all trams which cover both mouth and nose. Social distancing should also be followed when on board the trams and at stops and all government advice should be taken into consideration before travelling. Passengers should also consider travelling at quieter times if possible which on weekdays are between 0900 and 1630 and after 1900. A full guide to quiet times is available at https://westmidlandsmetro.com/quiet-times-to-travel/.
