Around the World in Trams: Auckland 44 & 257

We take one last look at MOTAT in Auckland today before our world tour continues.

The below photo features two trams we have already featured in recent weeks, both originating from New Zealand. On the left is 44, a 1906 Dinghy tram built by Auckland Electric Tramways Company at Ponsoby, and it is joined by 257, which is a Fiducia tram built in 1950. Both trams have been restored to operational condition but on 27th February 2020 were confined to depot.
