In Pictures: Nottingham Station at night

This small pictorial article takes us to Nottingham Station stop on Nottingham Express Transit for views taken of the trams on a cold and wet evening in mid-December 2019. Taking a look at various examples of the two fleets that operate the services we see both the Incentro and Citadis trams heading in their respective directions across the city to Hucknall and Phoenix Park and Clifton South and Toton Lane. Photographs from Ian Nightingale.

Toton Lane is the destination for 221 as it makes the call at Nottingham Station.

214 – one of the Incentro trams which hadn’t been refurbished – is seen here as it prepares to depart for Toton Lane.

209 arrives with a service for Phoenix Park. This tram is carrying an advertising livery for various NET promotions.

216 stands at the platform as it prepares to depart for Clifton South.

This is 231 which is operating through to Hucknall.

We end with 230 which is seen departing the stop for Phoenix Park. (All Photographs by Ian Nightingale, 11th December 2019)
