Once more its up to Blackpool for this instalment of “They Ran in 2019” and its another of the Balloon Cars up – no. 701.
With its unique Red and White livery 701 certainly turns heads when it is out and about with the tram used regularly on heritage tours both the standard Promenade tours, gold weekends and illumination tours too.
We start off with an image of 701 at Bispham on 25th May 2019 as it approaches the stop operating a southbound service to Pleasure Beach.
The second shot shows 701 on 28th September operating an illumination tour at Bispham.
