Its another week and another awards ceremony with the Midland Metro Alliance celebrating a double win at the 2019 West Midlands Celebrating Construction Awards. The wins came in the Integration and Collaborative Working and the People Development categories at the ceremony which recognise the excellence of local organisations in working in the built environment sector.
The Integration and Collaborative Working Award was given for its work in transforming the West Midlands through alliancing and collaboration whilst the People Development Award was for ongoing work in “upskilling” local people and offering career guidance to the region’s young people.
Alejandro Moreno, Midland Metro Alliance Director, said: “We were delighted to be recognised as an excellent example of partnership working. It was also fantastic that the team was recognised too for helping local unemployed people find work within the sector.”
