Around the World in Trams: Budapest 7671

As with many tram systems around the world, Budapest has also converted passenger trams for further use as a works car and that is what we feature in today’s image below.

7671 started off life as one of the Ganz type CSMG double articulated trams which were built between 1967 and 1977. Whilst around 30 of these were modernised during the 1990s to become type KCSV-7, 7671 became a works car. It is seen here at Orczy ut on 17th May 2012.
