Punctuality and reliability up on Metrolink

No sooner had we reported on the first two sets of performance data from Manchester Metrolink than the next period has been released with both punctuality and reliability on the increase.

The Period 13, 4th March until 31st March, stats show that 95.8% of all services across the network departed less than two minutes late (up from 95% in period 12). The high point of these stats was the East Didsbury line with 97.2% of services making the punctuality figures with the Bury line down at the bottom at 93.7%.

As for reliability – the percentage of planned miles operated – again that has seen an increase to 99.29% (from 98.26%). The Ashton-under-Lyne, Bury and Oldham and Rochdale lines all hit 100% during this period whilst the bottom of the table saw the Eccles/MediaCityUK line at 98.7% (still a pretty creditable figure).

* The full line-by-line stats can be found on the Transport for Greater Manchester website.
