DLR services suspended to Woolwich Arsenal after discovery of unexploded bomb

The discovery of an unexploded World War II bomb close to London City Airport at George V dock saw major disruption to not only flights from the airport but also Docklands Light Railway services. The bomb was discovered at 2200 on Sunday 11th February which saw the DLR suspended between Pontoon Dock and Woolwich Arsenal both that evening and throughout Monday 12th February. Normal services resumed on Tuesday 13th February.
