New campaign to encourage more passengers onto NET

Nottingham Express Transit have launched a new poster campaign urging more people to  glide into Nottingham”. The posters are due to start appearing across the City in the
coming weeks and they will also contain special “QR codes” which can be scanned by enabled mobile phones taking users to a special page on the NET website  (http://www.thetram.net/noholdups/).

Florian Le Loroux, Marketing Manager at NET, said: “With latest figures showing 99 per cent of our services run on time, we really think we’ve something to shout about. With
services running virtually every five minutes in peak hours in the city and 3000 free park and ride spaces at five key locations, the tram network offers a quick and convenient way of getting into the centre of Nottingham.”

Three main posters will be put up at various locations extolling the virtues of the system. The first looks at the reliability of the system, the second concentrates on the free park and ride sites with the final version mentioning the frequency of the service (versions of all these posters can be seen at http://www.thetram.net/noholdups/).
