NET Citadis named after Nurse of the Year

Six of Nottingham Express Transit’s Citadis trams are now carrying names following the naming of 220 Kim Helm this week. As you may remember Kim was named as Nottingham’s Nurse of the Year earlier this year and one of the prizes of this is to see her name on the side of one of a tram in Nottingham.

220 is the sixth of the 22 strong class of Alstom built Citadis trams to receive a name including 216 which carries the name of 2014 Nurse of the Year, Julie Poulter. 217, 218, 219 and 221 also carry names and eventually all of the trams will receive names as did all the original Incentro trams.

* Can you help? We are currently missing a number of dates of when the Citadis trams were delivered to Nottingham and are looking to ensure that the fleet list can be as complete as possible. If you know any of these dates please email gareth@britishtramsonline.co.uk or leave a comment below. We would also like to feature the entry into service dates for all the trams as part of the new look British Trams Online which will be launched at the end of this year so again if you can help please contact us.
