Nottingham Express Transit are planning to reintroduce their higher frequency timetable from the start of service on Wednesday 20th August 2025. NET had been running a temporary timetable since 25th June 2025 as a result of a shortage of trams but with sufficient repairs having been made to the fleet it is now possible to reintroduce the full service once again.
Originally due to be in place for around four weeks, this period was extended as the repairs and general maintenance needed to the trams (availability had been impacted by both RTCs and vandalism) took longer than initially hoped. It had been reported that it would be 31st August before things would get back to normal but NET announced on social media late on 19th August that the up to every 7 minute frequency would return the next day.
This should be a reintroduction of the normal timetable which sees the following frequencies on each line:
Monday-Friday
- 0600-0700 – every 15 minutes
- 0700-1000 – every 7 minutes
- 1000-1500 – every 10 minutes
- 1500-1900 – every 7 minutes
- 1900-2100 – every 10 minutes
- 2100-end of service – every 15 minutes
Saturday
- 0600-0700 – every 15 minutes
- 0700-1000 – every 10 minutes
- 1000-1900 – every 7 minutes
- 1900-2100 – every 10 minutes
- 2100-end of service – every 15 minutes
Sunday
- 0600-0700 – every 15 minutes
- 0700-1900 – every 10 minutes
