The British Trams Online Tram (Modern) of the Year for 2024 was Blackpool Tramway 018. The tram won the most votes having been the very first tram with passengers to run on the North Station extension when it was used on the pre-opening specials in June 2024. Its around a month later when we see the tram in this as on 19th July 2024 we see the tram about to go around the Metropole Hotel on its way south. (Photograph by Peter Johnson)
