Ticket holders for concerts featuring two of the biggest names in indie rock and pop at the Royal Highland Centre are being encouraged to let Edinburgh Trams take the strain when they take place later this month.
Concerts featuring Ocean Colour Scene and Catfish and the Bottleman will be taking place on Saturday 17th and Saturday 24th August and to make it even easier to get back after the events the Festival all-night trams will also be running.
There will be also be a clearly signposted safe walking route from Ingliston Park and Ride to the Royal Highland Centre.
Sarah Singh, Edinburgh Trams Head of Service Delivery, said: “These shows are set to be among the highlights of the city’s summer season, with thousands of people flocking to the showground on Saturday, August 17 and Saturday, August 24. Parking around the venue will be in short supply, and the roads will certainly be very busy, so the tram offers the most convenient way to get there from other parts of the city, including Newhaven, Leith and the city centre.”
