Woman hit by tram on West Midlands Metro

A woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a tram close to Dudley Street stop on Thursday 13th June.

The incident happened at around 1445 and led to the emergency services being called to the scene to treat the woman’s injuries and subsequently take her to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for further treatment.

Whilst the lady was treated West Midlands Metro services were altered with no service between Black Lake and West Bromwich Central. A revised ran Black Lake-Wolverhampton Railway Station and West Bromwich Central-Edgbaston Village.
