Its time for another edition of “Around the World in Trams”.
Again we are in 1980 for this photo which depicts 765 on President Kennedy Laan with a service on line 25. 765 is slightly newer than the trams we’ve seen over the past couple of weeks with it being new in June 1975. It’s a LHB 8G class of which one remains as a museum tram today. It may be newer than the Werskspoor 7G’s we’ve featured but it was scrapped slightly earlier with its days being numbered in July 2002.
