Nottingham Express Transit services were suspended for several hours on the Toton Lane line during the evening of Thursday 21st March after a collision between a car and a tram.
The incident happened on Lower Road, Beeston at approximately 1900 and involved a Citadis tram. There were no reported injuries on either the tram or in the car but it did lead to significant disruption.
Trams were unable to run between University of Nottingham and Cator Lane for several hours whilst the scene was cleared. Normal services were able to resume before the end of service and ran as normal from start of service on Friday 22nd March.
