The awards keep coming for the Seaton Tramway!

And repeat! The Seaton Tramway is once again celebrating success at an award ceremony with the unique attraction receiving two more accolades at the South West Tourism Excellence Awards bringing the grand total of awards for the past year to 11!

Held at the Great Hall, Exeter University on 14th March the South West Tourism Excellence Awards service as a platform to spotlight and celebrate the remarkable contributions of businesses on the region’s tourism landscape.

On the night Seaton Tramway received the Bronze Award for Large Attraction of the Year and was given the Gold Award for Experience of the Year for The Story Tram. The Story Tram is an event which takes place once a month for young children and sees families take a tram ride with themed stories.

Jenny Nunn, Chief Executive of Seaton Tramway, said: “We are deeply honoured to receive these awards, which underscore our commitment to providing exceptional experiences for our visitors. This recognition is a testament to the dedication and passion of our team at Seaton Tramway.”

Seaton Tramway are now waiting to see if their Gold award for Experience of the Year earns then a nomination to represent the region in the national VisitEngland awards which takes place in Liverpool this June.

2024 looks set to be another key year in the history of the Seaton Tramway as they takeover the operation of the new Jurassic Discovery attraction. This will initially open with a Jurassic Soft Play and Café before a new immersive, animatronic dinosaur exhibition opens this summer.
