Did you think it had gone a bit too quiet with new adverts in Edinburgh? Will don’t worry as we can now report on a new advert – and its another full wrap with 273 swapping OVO Energy for Uniqlo.
This latest advert on 273 was applied at the very start of March 2024 and sees one full vinyl wrap replaced by another. It’s a change of colour for 273 as its green OVO Energy vinyls are replaced by white ones for Uniqlo, who are opening a new store on Princes Street this spring. The third and fifth sections of the tram include vinyls on the windows with the rest just seeing vinyls on the bodyside.
This is only the fifth advert to have been seen on 273. It started off in February 2018 with a partial advert for Johnnie Walker’s #jointhepact campaign. Then came two designs for Herverlee Lager between October 2021 and October 2023 before its first full wrap came in October 2023 for OVO Energy.
273 waits at St Andrew Square with a service for the Airport with its new vinyl wrap in place. Whilst being a fairly basic advert it leaves you in very little doubt who the advertiser is!
