We mentioned in our Manchester Metrolink advert round-up recently that 3117 has received a new advert but in that article we didn’t have a photo to include. But we do now thanks to Reece Hughes!
3117 received its fifth ever vinyl wrap advert in December 2023 when it received these vinyls for Marks Electrical. As well as the usual vinyls on the side of the tram this ad encroaches on the front section as well (which is usually left in fleet livery) including the Marks Electrical logo on the very front of the tram.
3117’s other adverts have been for Manchester College from October-December 2016, Cyberpunk 2077 from December 2020-February 2021, Lifebuoy Soap from September 2021-June 2023 and Yayoi Kusama Avivia Studio July 2023-September 2023.

Glad to see that the windows have not been vinyled. This helps the visually impaired to see where they are.
