15 Years Apart: Leeds 399

Today “15 Years Apart” is at Crich to take a look at another recent stalwart in service.

Leeds 399 is seen on 8th June 2008 here as it passes the Workshop with another service up the line to Glory Mine. The tram is in its Leeds fleet livery, includes between deck adverts and the destination blind is set to Headingley.

On 16th September 2023 we again see Leeds 399. This time its heading in the opposite direction along the tramway with the Workshop just to the left of where this photograph is taken from. Still with between deck adverts, this time the destination blind has been turned to go to Cardigan Road. (Both Photographs by Gareth Prior)
