Today “Around the World in Trams” again visits the German city of Stuttgart.
The photo you can see at the bottom of this article was taken in 1994 at Mineralbader on the Stuttgart light rail system. It shows 555, a tram built in 1960 for Stuttgart but one which did not have long left in Stuttgart as in 1995 it was sold on for further use in Arad, Romania. It has now been withdrawn from service there as well.
