Staying in the Italian city of Turin for this week’s “Around the World in Trams”.
This photo was again taken in March 2019 and shows one of the 2001-2003 batch of Cityway trams built by Fiat Ferroviaria/Alstom. 6011 was built in 2011 and is a double ended tram – the first six of the class were built as single ended vehicles. The tram has extensive advertising in place as it runs on route 4 which goes through some narrow one-way streets in the centre of the city. Its seen in Via Paolo Sacchi which is next to the station. 6011 remains in service in 2023.
