Stagecoach Supertram will be running a revised service on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th June with the Arctic Monkeys performing at Hillsborough Park. This will see Blue route services diverted to Middlewood following the event to provide extra capacity for those wanting to get home.
After 1900 on both Friday 9th and Saturday 10th June the following changes will be in place:
- Trams will run every 30 minutes on both the Blue and Yellow routes with trams running to Middlewood – services to Malin Bridge will be disrupted or diverted between 2130 and 2300. This will give a combined frequency of every 15 minutes between Hillsborough and the city centre.
- Additional trams will run between Leepings Lane and the city centre
- Anyone leaving the event will be directed to Leppings Lane tramstop and will not be able to join trams at Middlewood, Hillborough Park or Hillsborough.
