Back in December 2022 we reported on a new advertising livery for Edinburgh Trams 264 with it having received vinyls for Jollyes Pet Store. This ended up being a short-term contract though as, although previously unreported, come January 2023 the vinyls were removed with the tram back in fleet livery again.
With Edinburgh Trams having a fleet of 27 trams, after they were ordered before the original network was reduced to a single line, 264 hasn’t been seen out on the tracks since its advert was removed which is why this had gone unreported on these pages until now. To even out the wear and tear on the fleet trams are used in rotation and it hasn’t been 264’s turn to be used for a while.
For the record 264 has carried six adverts over the years: Parabola Edinburgh Fringe Festival (July 2018-August 2019), American Express (September 2019-December 2019), Edinburgh Trams Hogmanay (December 2019-January 2020), Johnnie Walker #jointhepact (January 2020-June 2022), Tennent’s Light (June 2022-December 2022) and Jollyes Pet Store (December 2022-January 2023).
