In all our recent articles on the new adverts recently applied to trams on the Manchester Metrolink network there has been one which has been mentioned but not pictured – the new ad for Get On Board on 3038. But we put that right now in this article!
Get on Board is a Transport for Greater Manchester campaign encouraging people to use public transport in the region. Publicising the current low bus fares (£2 fare cap for single tickets) the campaign is also preparing people for the forthcoming Bee Network which will encompass all public transport in the region under local control, including bus franchising.
This advert on 3038 was first noted in March and is the first non-fleet livery that this particular tram has carried. It isn’t the first tram to publicise Get On Board though as 3059, 3061 and 3081 all carried a different design for the campaign last year.
