There will be various service changes on the Manchester Metrolink network over the next few months. All the work planned is only at weekends but will impact the Rochdale, Airport, Bury and Ashton lines as well as an early morning complete network shutdown.
Sunday 26th March
No services across the whole network until after 0900. First trams will start to run from 0900 but it will take a little time before a normal service is operational. There will be no replacement buses.
There will then be no trams Rochdale-Freehold for the rest of the day. A replacement bus service will run after 0900.
Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd April
No trams will run Rochdale-Freehold on both days. Replacement buses services will run.
Sunday 23rd April
No trams will run Manchester Airport-Wythenshawe Town Centre all day. Replacement buses will run.
Sunday 7th May
No trams Bury-Crumpsall. Replacement buses will run.
Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th May
No trams will run between Ashton-under-Lyne and Cornbrook with Eccles line services running Eccles-Cornbrook only. There will be a replacement bus service.
