During February 2023 there will be a number of line closure to facilitate engineering works on the Manchester Metrolink network. None of these will be major long-term closures with work either taking place late evening or across a weekend.
Saturday 4th February
- From 2200 there will be work at Pomona tram stop.
- There will be no trams between The Trafford Centre and Deansgate-Castlefield and between Eccles and Deansgate-Castlefield
- Replacement buses will run from 2230 until end of service
- Normal services resume from the start of service on Sunday 5th February
Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th February
- Work takes place at Freehold
- No trams will run between Freehold and Rochdale Town Centre
- Replacement buses will run
- Normal services resume from the start of service on Monday 13th February
Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th February
- Works take place at Whitefield
- No trams will run between Crumpsall and Bury
- Replacement buses will run
- Normal services resume from the start of service on Monday 20th February
Monday 20th February
- Works take place on the Rochdale line after 2100
- There will be no trams running from Rochdale to Exchange Square
- Replacement buses will run
- Normal services resume from the start of service on Tuesday 21st February
