Its time for another trip back to 1995 in Sheffield as “Picture in Time” continues.
On Tony Sullivan’s visit on 9th March 1995 it wasn’t just the trams in service which caught his eye as there were also some test runs with the system still not at its full length, trams still being commissioned and drivers being trained.
And so it was in this shot taken on the eastern side of the delta junction where we see 16 turning towards us. By this date 16 had been in Sheffield for one year and one day having being delivered on 8th March 1994.
