We stay with another modern tram for this edition of “The Number 20” as we take a trip to Nottingham Express Transit.

Qualification: The 20th tram for Nottingham Express Transit
220 was just the fifth of the Alstom built Citadis trams to be delivered to Nottingham with it arriving in the city on 27th November 2013. Whilst not the twentieth of the class it is the twentieth tram for NET with the Citadis following on from the earlier Incentro trams. Still in service today it has run in the same fleet livery since arrival and currently carries the name Sir Martyn Poliakoff. On 3rd October 2014 we picture the tram here arriving at Station Street with a terminating service – before trams would continue over Nottingham Station and onto the Phase Two extensions.
