Back to a modern tramway for today’s “The Number 20” with a visit to Manchester Metrolink.

Qualification: The 20th M5000
3020 was the twentieth M5000 to be delivered to Manchester with it arriving at Queens Road Depot on 24th July 2010. It has always been in the standard fleet livery but does carry the name Lancashire Fusilier, which was applied in 2013. On 2nd July 2022 we capture an image of the tram as it arrives at St Peter’s Square with a Piccadilly to Altrincham service. (Photograph by Gareth Prior)
