Today “Trams &” is in Fleetwood as we feature the now withdrawn Balloon Car 715 alongside a modern day Blackpool Transport bus.
This image was captured on 23rd September 2022 when Balloon 715 was running a Coastal Tour from North Pier to Fleetwood and back. As part of the timetable this included a 40 minute break in Fleetwood for those on the tour to do what they like in Fleetwood – in this case stand and wait and take some more photos!
Stabled on Fleetwood Esplanade as 715 waits to return to Blackpool it is passed by one of Blackpool Transport’s current fleet of Palladium branded buses. Carrying the fleet number 438 this bus is an ADL Enviro400 City. On this day it was working on line 14 with it just starting its return trip to Blackpool in this shot.
