Manchester Metrolink is the subject of this latest edition of “Out and About”.
This photo is taken at Navigation Road – which is the last stop before Altrincham and features a solitary platform for trams which the other platform used by national rail trains – of which a Northern Rail DMU can also be seen here. The tram we look at is 3022 which retains its special Pride of Manchester livery.
Here we see 3098 at St Peter’s Square as its at the back of a double unit. The pair are not in service and will run to Deansgate-Castlefield before returning towards Etihad Campus. (Both Photographs by Michael Morton, 14th July 2022)
