In Pictures: Edinburgh 260 advertises Spotify

Spotify have returned to advertising on Edinburgh Trams with 260 received external vinyls for the audio streaming service. The new advert comes around three years since they last advertised on the network when 262 and 267 both carried identical ads.

260 was previously advertising the Johnnie Walker #jointhepact campaign (in a design originally seen in December 2019) and this advert for Spotify is just its third since the start of services on the tramway. Its first advert was for C R Smith (from Glasgow to Peterhead) between August 2017 and December 2019 before the Johnnie Walker ad from December 2019 to August 2022.

The advert is of the usual format for Edinburgh trams with full height vinyls on the third and fifth sections. The base colour is yellow with a splash of green!

260 swings round onto Princes Street heading for the Airport with its new yellow adverts for Spotify on show.

The advert is promoting comedy podcasts on Spotify and coincides with the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and its many comedy acts. (Both Photographs by Roy Calderwood, 10th August 2022)
