In Pictures: A new advert for Edinburgh Trams 269

Edinburgh Trams 269 is now bringing a splash of colour to the city as its received new adverts for the Cobbles Tour – a bus tour around the city aimed at a family market – using a bright yellow background making sure that it stands out against the standard fleet livery. The advert was first spotted at the end of May 2022 and replaces a previous advert for Scotland. Let’s do net zero.

As you’ve come to expect the advert has been applied in the usual format – so that means the third and fifth sections of the seven section tram have full height adverts including over the windows whilst the other sections just have above window adverts applied.

The Cobbles Tour is a new bus tour around Edinburgh run by Edinburgh Bus Tours with tickets costing £10 for adults and children travelling for free. It departs from Lawnmarket with a tour taking around an hour. As part of the marketing for the tour the company have introduced Cobbles the Scottie Dog who may even pop in to some tours and say hello!

This is the sixth different advert for 269 following on from designs for CR Smith (October 2017-June 2019), EE 5G (June 2019-September 2019), American Express (September 2019-unknown date), Edinburgh Napier University (July 2021-October 2021) and Scotland. Let’s do net zero (October 2021-May 2022).
