More Luas engineering works

There will be further changes to services on Dublin’s Luas tram network this month with additional engineering works, including some unscheduled works this coming weekend.

Saturday 14th May & Sunday 15th May

Usually the release letting everyone know about engineering works makes its clear they are scheduled but on this occasion they are unscheduled with short notice of the service changes required. Only the Green Line will be affected with the Red Line running as normal.

The works will be taking place in Sandyford and mean that on Saturday 14th May Green Line services will end approximately one hour earlier than normal with the last southbound service from Broombridge at 2316 and the last northbound working from Brides Glen at 2300.

Then on Sunday 15th May services will start approximately three hours later than usual. The first southbound service from Broombridge will be at 0931 and the first tram northbound from Brides Glen will be at 1000. Luas tickets can be used on Dublin Bus during on Sunday 15th May whilst there are no trams.

Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd May

There will be no Red Line trams running between Red Cow and Tallaght/Saggart throughout the weekend. Trams will only run Red Cow to Connolly/The Point.

Replacement buses will run approximately every 15 minutes on both days. All stops will be served by the buses except for Citywest Campus due to limited bus set-down areas.

The Green Line will run as normal throughout the weekend.
