Minor Supertram timetable changes in May

There will be further timetable changes on Stagecoach Supertram from May (15th May for the Tram-Train, 29th May for everything else) in a bid to improve reliability. Its nothing major and it won’t see any changes to frequencies of any route but it does mean tram times at various stops will be slightly different.

The frequencies across the network will remain:

  • Blue – every 20 minutes from start of service, every 12 minutes during the day Monday to Saturday and up to every 20 minutes on Sunday. In the evening the frequency will be every 30 minutes Monday-Sunday.
  • Purple – trams will run every hour Monday to Saturday but every 30 minutes on a Sunday
  • Yellow – every 20 minutes from start of service, every 12 minutes during the day Monday to Saturday and up to every 20 minutes on Sunday. In the evening the frequency will be every 30 minutes Monday-Sunday.
  • Tram-Train – continuing its revised service of two services an hour

Its also been confirmed that the Platinum Jubilee weekend will see engineering works which will affect services between Shalesmoor and Middlewood/Malin Bridge. More details on these are due to follow.
