Late night trams in Edinburgh for Terminal V festival

Edinburgh Trams will be running extra late night services on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th April to cater for those attending the Terminal V festival at the Royal Highland Centre with shuttle buses linking the site with Ingliston Park and Ride too.

Trams will continue to run up to every 7 minutes during the day between the Airport and St Andrew Square with additional services every 20 minutes until approximately 0030 to help festival goers get home at the end of the event on both days.

Terminal V is a world renowned underground electronic music festival with artists including 999999999 (Live), Adiel, Airod and Alan Fitzpatrick due to appear.

Sarah Singh, Head of Operations at Edinburgh Trams, said: “We are delighted to be able to support the festival by working with the organisers to ensure fans can get back home or to their accommodation once sets finish at 11.00pm on Saturday and Sunday night. Trams will serve all stops between Ingliston and St Andrew Square, and with a single ticket costing just £1.80 and day return £3.40, the tram also offers great value for anyone travelling to the event over the Easter weekend. On arrival at the Ingliston park & ride tram stop, techno fans can board the free shuttle bus running a regular intervals to the centre’s North Entrance to sample some of the world’s best electronic music, including sets by 999999999, Kink and Planetary Assault Systems.”
