More engineering works at Victoria to affect Metrolink services during January

Trackworks at Victoria Station during January 2022 are set to see service changes of Manchester Metrolink with no trams able to run through the station. The works have been timed to coincide with other essential works on the Network Rail lines at Victoria to limit the overall duration of the works and the impact on passengers and the local community.

The works will take place on the following dates:

• Saturday 1^st to Monday 3^rd January 2022
• Sunday 9^th January 2022
• Sunday 16^th January 2022

During the works the following service changes will be in place:

• Bury line services will terminate at Abraham Moss
• Oldham & Rochdale line services will terminate at Monsall
• East Didsbury line services will terminate at Exchange Square
• Manchester Airport line services will terminate at Cornbrook

There will also be replacement bus services:

• Crumpsall to Piccadilly picking up at Abraham Moss, Queens Road, Victoria and Piccadilly Gardens
• Central Park to Deansgate-Castlefield picking up at Monsall, Victoria and St Peter’ Square
• Chorlton to Victoria picking up at Firswood, Trafford Bar, Cornbrook, Deansgate-Castlefield, St Peter’s Square, Piccadilly Gardens and Shudehill
