We may be seeing a change in the season (and with it more unsettled weather conditions) but despite that the three newest trams (9, 10 and 11) were still the trams which travelled the most miles, although the enclosed saloons have started to see more use again.
The mileage figures have been released in the latest Seaton Tramway newsletter which shows that all 12 of the current operational passenger tram fleet ran during September – although for no. 12 that only included a single round-trip as it only managed a total of 6 miles! (The line is approximately 3 miles in one direction).
10 was again the tram was travelled the most with 870 miles covered during the month. 9 then came in with 834 miles and third place was 11 with a total of 762 miles. The highest mileage of the single deckers was 16 which operated 567 miles (the fifth highest for the month).

Seaton Tramway is still open every day although they have now resumed operating the Yellow timetable which only sees trams running between 1000 and 1600. Daily opening remains in place until the end of Sunday 2nd November 2025.
