3132 enters service on Manchester Metrolink

The 132nd M5000 on Manchester Metrolink has now entered service on the network with 3132 now part of the operational fleet for the first time. The tram carries the standard fleet livery and was first spotted in service on Saturday 14th November 2021.

3132 was delivered to Queens Road Depot on 16th October and its commissioning and mileage accumulation work soon started. Its not know whether 14th November was its first day in service but it’s the first report of it being used we’ve seen! It was allocated to the East Didsbury service, operating as a single tram.

The entry into service of 3132 just leaves 3133 of those which have been delivered to be fully commissioned for service. This tram arrived on 6th November.
