12 year old boy taken to hospital after being hit by tram in Fleetwood

A 12 year old boy was taken to hospital with non life-threatening head injuries after he was hit by a tram close to the stop at Heathfield Road, Fleetwood on Friday 18^th June. The incident happened shortly after 1500 with the Police and Ambulance Service both in attendance. After treatment at the scene the boy was taken to hospital with his injuries described as not being life threatening. Tram services were disrupted whilst the incident was dealt with.
