Lockdown Walks: Manchester Metrolink 3105

In this latest “Lockdown Walk” we take a look at another sunny view of the Trafford Park line.

When the Trafford Park line opened in March 2020 the terminus stop was known as intu Trafford Centre with the shopping centre at the time being owned by intu. But after the company went into administration during June 2020 the centre’s ownership was transferred to The Trafford Centre Limited and subsequently renamed simply The Trafford Centre. The stop name was also changed towards the start of 2021, including not only stop signs, maps etc. but also the destination displays on the trams.

And that is what we can see on the front of 3105 as it heads away from the camera here on Trafford Wharf Road. (Photograph by Kate Meeson)
