We’re off to Freiburg in Germany again for this edition of “Around the World in Trams”.
Today the tram we feature is 230 which entered service in 1991. This was built by Duewag and is a GT8NF vehicle which includes a low floor centre section and allowed better accessibility than those trams which went before them. They are now mainly confined to lines 3 and 5 and in this 12th May 2012 the tram was on a line 5 working.
